When middle-aged Sarah visits her aging father at his assisted-living residence for dementia sufferers, they take a shambling stroll down a very crooked memory lane together in this poignant one act.

The Moat premiered in New Orleans in '03 at DramaRama13, an annual performing arts festival in New Orleans where Popeson was a featured artist.
