Rebellion Dogs Productions



Rebellion Dogs was founded in 2005 by Pamela Popeson as an offshoot of Thunderbird Productions.

In January 2004, with Thunderbird Productions we first produced "The Moat" a short piece by Pamela Popeson, at DramaRama, New Orleans's annual Performing Arts Festival at the Contempory Arts Center, where Popeson was a featured artist. "The Moat" was directed by Liz Laderbach with Lane Trippe and Jay Hammons, Sr. with visual projections by David Baugnon.

Rebellion Dogs returned to DramaRama in March of 2005 with "The Spy" by Popeson, directed by J. Hammons, featuring Lane Trippe.

In July 2006 the Rebellion Dogs produced "What Comes Next", a multimedia full-length stage drama by Popeson, at the Access Theater, Off-Off Broadway, as an Actor's Equity Showcase, directed by Lorca Peress featuring Marin Gazzaniga, Stephen Clarke, Dan Teachout, Daniel Hicks, Lane Trippe, Tanya Perez, Joe Corrao, and Angelo Rosso.

Pamela A. Popeson's first play (multimedia), "The Bigger Thing", premiered Off-Off Broadway in 2002 with Born Slippery Productions and was optioned by True Love Productions after performances at Fringe 02 in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Popeson's recent video artist work includes: "The Quarter Ride" screened at Plutonian Films Tribeca, NY and a series of video projection pieces for the feature film "So Close." A frequent contributor to NYArts Magazine, COVER Magazine, and Artists Unite Issue, Popeson is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America and The Playwrights' Center.

On April 22, 2007 Popeson will be a guest panelist at upcoming Rockaway Literary Arts Festival — Screen and Script Writing Symposium held at Fort Tilden, Gateway National Park.
